Requirements:

• Degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering or closely related field.
• Extensive lab experience across multiple life science platforms, particularly NGS platforms.
• Bachelor's with 8+ years, Master's with 5+ years, or PhD with 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Proven positive direct customer-facing experience.
• Experience in the development of biomedical or scientific instruments.
• Experience in the generation and/or analysis of genomic data.
• Ability to balance long-term goals with short-term deliverables.
• Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience with teaching, training, or mentoring others.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time and reside near a major airport.

Responsibilities:

• Support and manage customer application needs for genomic analysis instrumentation.
• Train customers on newest process, kit or instrument release.
• Enable customer samples by integrating internal workflows to support new applications.
• Provide troubleshooting support and interface with internal development.
• Work closely with development teams to provide feedback.
• Develop customer processes and workflows using library preparation instrumentation.
• Perform site readiness meetings for new customers.
• Report and resolve customer issues.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing on technical presentations.
• Design and track pilot experiments for new technology customers.
• Represent the company at customer sites and scientific conferences.
