Requirements:

• A passion for observability and a desire to share knowledge through documentation and blog posts.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Relevant open source experience, ideally in OpenTelemetry or Prometheus.
• Willingness to actively engage with the OpenTelemetry community.
• Good understanding of production environments, including operating production infrastructure and organizing on-call support.

Responsibilities:

• Working with the Alloy team to deliver new functionality.
• Contributing to and reviewing design documents for upcoming features.
• Being an active member of the OpenTelemetry collector community.
• Ensuring Alloy integrates well with the Prometheus ecosystem.
• Supporting customers and prospects with setting up their observability pipelines.
• Collaborating with other teams within Grafana.
• Participating in on-call rotations for deployments.
