Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience at a top law firm or in-house at a healthcare organization/start-up.
  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to at least one state bar and in good standing.
  • Experience with high growth companies, particularly in healthcare or retail.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Draft, negotiate, and review agreements related to employment, marketing, SaaS, and other contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to negotiate favorable contract terms while managing legal risks.
  • Develop processes and training to ensure compliance with laws relevant to veterinary services.
  • Research and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assist the VP, Legal in managing relationships with outside counsel.
