General Accountant for a US Holdings Company

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience with U.S.-based companies.
• Proven experience with Sage Intacct and QuickBooks Online.
• Experience with multiple entities or in a holdings company is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily bookkeeping tasks for 10 selected entities, ensuring accurate financial records.
• Perform journal entries and adjustments to maintain general ledger integrity.
• Lead the month-end closing process, including reconciliations and financial statement preparations.
• Generate monthly financial reports, providing summaries and insights.
• Review and verify financial transactions for precision and classification.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.
• Maintain organized record systems for transactions and documentation.
• Collaborate with the finance team on financial matters.
