Requirements:

• Certification: CPC, CCS, or other recognized medical coding certification.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of coding experience in OBGYN.
• Software Proficiency: Extensive experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW).
• Knowledge: Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Review and assign accurate codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services in eClinicalWorks.
• Ensure coding compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
• Utilize specialized knowledge in OBGYN coding for women's health services.
• Identify and report revenue enhancements to maximize reimbursements.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff on documentation for accurate coding.
• Conduct audits to uphold coding standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
