Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax compliance required; large public company, public accounting, or accounting experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field.
  • Experience with communicating with tax authorities preferred.
  • Experience with Thomson Reuters tax compliance software preferred.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with tax research.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare both federal and state/franchise income tax returns for Corporation and Partnership.
  • Assist with federal and state tax controversy matters, including notices, audits, and appeals.
  • Research tax laws and document positions to support tax filings and planning.
  • Prepare state tax apportionment computations.
  • Assist with the annual R&E tax credit review, process, and documentation.
  • Assist with tax estimate calculations and make payments with taxing authorities.
  • Participate in process improvements, tax technical research, and other special projects.
