Requirements:

• Experience in forested systems, with a focus on economics, forestry, ecology, agriculture, conservation, restoration, carbon markets, carbon accounting, and public policy.
• Master's degree in a related field or Bachelor's with relevant work experience, academic focus, internships, or volunteer experience.
• Training in research methods (quantitative or qualitative) is a plus.
• Ability to synthesize findings from scientific reports.
• Effective and efficient work with limited supervision, actively engage with project managers.
• Strong communication and confident writing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing client needs.
• Client engagement experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and/or analytical software (e.g., R, GIS, Tableau) preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Support project design, execution of deliverables in collaboration with team members.
• Undertake research, modeling, expert interviews, and data analyses independently and with colleagues.
• Participate in collaborative problem-solving with project teams.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to achieve goals.
• Develop and communicate clear recommendations through reports, briefs, and presentations.
• Ensure quality control of work products and correspondence.
• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and communicate work plans.
