Requirements:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques such as Gradient Boosting, Logistic Regression, and Neural Networks.
• 6+ years of experience with modern machine learning toolsets and programming languages, particularly Python.
• 6+ years of data extraction, cleaning, analysis, and building reusable data pipelines; proficient in SQL, Spark SQL, and/or Hive.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and project management skills.
• Experience with AWS EMR, Sage-maker or other cloud-based platforms, and big data tools such as HDFS and Hive is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Develop data products and machine learning models for Risk, Fraud, Collections, and portfolio management.
• Build accurate and automated monitoring tools for model performance.
• Create model deployment platforms to expedite implementation of new models.
• Establish reusable pipelines from data acquisition to model output delivery.
• Lead business initiatives including project planning and stakeholder management.
• Facilitate discussions on Model Governance Activities with Compliance and Model Risk Management.
