Requirements:
  • Hold a university degree in (Industrial) Engineering, Economics or a related field.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; other relevant languages are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in commodity trading and/or developing offtake contracts.
  • Understanding of renewable energy generation and hydrogen production/distribution is advantageous.
  • Strong networking skills and ability to communicate with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for offtake negotiations and concluding final agreements for projects producing hydrogen derivatives.
  • Develop bankability and financing concepts for Power-to-X projects in cooperation with the project financing department.
  • Build a strong network among offtakers and stakeholders and apply for support mechanisms with other departments.
  • Integrate logistics into offtake contracts and organize Enertrag PtX product tenders.
  • Incorporate latest market developments into negotiation processes and ensure offtake perspectives are integrated into project development.
