Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Design, demonstrated through a portfolio.
  • Wide range of UX skills with proven expertise in Interaction Design, Visual Design, and User Research.
  • Ability to balance qualitative and quantitative methods to improve user experiences in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent English skills to present work, facilitate workshops, and articulate decisions.
  • Active in seeking feedback and sharing learnings with the team.
  • Solid competence in Information Architecture and Service Design.
  • Domain experience with e-commerce or marketplaces is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Measurably improve refurbed’s matching rate while being the responsible designer for refurbed’s category pages, filters, search, megamenu, and more.
  • Collaborate with business, technical, marketing, and UX roles to understand user and business needs and translate them into effective, appealing solutions.
  • Design and prototype at all levels of fidelity, balancing rapid experimentation with in-depth exploration of complex user journeys.
  • Carry out qualitative user research efforts such as moderated interviews or unmoderated usability tests, independently or in partnership with UX Research.
  • Lead or actively participate in cross-functional meetings and workshops to foster a user-centered design process and solve customer problems.
  • Contribute to our design system (Jellyfish) while honoring our brand guidelines.
