Requirements:

• 7+ years data science working experience including building and deploying machine learning models and applications.
• 5+ years of managing data science and/or machine learning teams.
• Proven track record of hiring, retaining, and growing strong talent.
• Strong knowledge of ML, NLP, LLM technologies, working with large data sets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (Preferably: Data Science, Healthcare Informatics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent related work experience.
• Experience in healthcare, healthcare data (claims data, aggregate patient data, and VBC contracting) and startups is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow a high-performing data science and machine learning team to prototype, productionize, and iterate upon solutions that deliver business impact.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of data science projects, including scoping, design, modeling, validation, and deployment.
• Execute on the roadmap while collaborating closely with product, data engineering, analytics, medecon, and other stakeholders.
• Create a team culture of technical excellence and innovation.
• Help the team make quick decisions and deliver high-quality results.
• Identify and champion new areas of opportunity aimed at delivering value to patients and providers.
