Requirements:

• Candidates must have a minimum of 7-10 years of legal experience.
• Experience must include work as an insurance defense litigator.
• Candidates should be familiar with capturing billable hours.
• Ability to handle a caseload with minimal supervision is required.
• Candidates must be currently barred in New Jersey.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire legal process, including investigation, discovery, trial preparation, and court proceedings.
• Represent clients in depositions, site inspections, court hearings, and trials, as well as negotiate settlements.
• Research applicable laws to develop legal strategies and share them with claims representatives and clients.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with claims representatives and clients.
• Conduct training sessions for Legal, Claims, or other departments.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions, and provide clear legal opinions.
