Senior Accountant (Revenue, Billing, and Collections)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting, including ASC606 revenue recognition.
• Experience in billing and collections.
• Proven advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (SAP, NetSuite, or Blackline).
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and regulations including GAAP and IFRS.
• CPA certification preferred, with Big4 Public Accounting experience a plus.
• Self-directed with a drive for continuous improvement.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel up to 10% annually.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and process invoices according to company policies.
• Apply client cash timely, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Analyze revenue transactions for recognition under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Independently analyze billing data to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting related to billing and revenue.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing matters.
• Collaborate with sales, customer support, and finance for billing accuracy.
• Partner with billing, revenue, and collections teams.
• Work with operations on data integrity and billing-related cases.
