Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Understanding or experience in relational and OLAP style databases.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, MongoDB, big data databases, and cloud technologies like BigQuery and CloudSQL.
• Ability to design and implement effective database solutions and models.
• Experience in tuning queries to enhance performance.
• Previous experience in production environments and on-call responsibilities.
• Experience in building and maintaining documentation.
• Storage and server hardware knowledge is a plus.
• Linux experience is a plus.
• Capability to support database migrations and apply necessary patches.

Responsibilities:

• Solve complex problems and troubleshoot issues quickly.
• Demonstrate a passion for learning and understanding new concepts and technologies.
• Maintain pride in the quality and timeliness of work.
• Escalate cases as needed for tactical and strategic resolution.
• Address service outages, including after hours and weekends.
• Identify effective performance improvements, including hardware or configuration changes.

• Show enthusiasm for automating database maintenance and monitoring tasks.
