Requirements:

• 5 years experience in strategic procurement within a category-management framework.
• Degree educated and CIPS qualified.
• Experience preferred in waste management, manufacturing, or logistics sectors.
• Strong negotiation skills with capacity to influence stakeholders in matrix organizations.
• Familiarity with major supplier relationships and interaction with large supplier partners at account manager level.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a detailed understanding of key spend areas and manage contracts accordingly.
• Deliver annual savings and maintain supplier quality and delivery expectations.
• Create and implement category strategies for cost reduction and innovation.
• Oversee sustainability requirements and compliance with SBTi targets.
• Report on savings delivery and foster strong stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure adherence to procurement processes and standards.
