Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years as a sports performance coach at collegiate or professional levels.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing staff in a strength and conditioning environment.
  • Master's Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Health Sciences, or related field.
  • Current NSCA CSCS or CSCCa SCCC certification required.
  • Current CPR/AED certification required.
  • Preferred credentials: USAW, FRC, PICP, APCC, FMS, NASM – CES/PES, Nutritional Specialist.
  • Experience working directly with female athletes, especially softball.
  • Extensive training experience with elite athletes and knowledge of various sports.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, and athlete monitoring programs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement pre-, in-, and post-season sports performance programs for all athletes.
  • Advise athletes on methods and techniques for strength, speed, agility, flexibility training, rest, and recovery.
  • Utilize technology to monitor athlete training load and wellness.
  • Supervise and support assistant coaches for smooth operations across league sites.
  • Collaborate with team coaches and medical staff for holistic athlete support.
  • Maintain performance records and conduct program analysis.
  • Assist with staffing and budget management.
