Requirements:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering and analytics.
• 5+ years of experience in leading healthcare data engineering or analytic software development teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar.
• Deep expertise in translating complex data into enterprise-grade products.
• Experience in developing scalable data architectures including data warehousing and data lakes.
• Knowledge of data standards, governance, and cataloging.
• Proven track record in building and scaling data engineering and analytics teams.
• Experience with cloud providers and data pipeline technologies.
• Strong organizational skills and knowledge of agile or scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of data security protocols and healthcare coding standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide thought leadership & strategic thinking to design and enable Cohere’s enterprise data warehouse, data lakes, and datamarts.
• Lead our enterprise master data initiatives to ensure a single, accurate, and consistent view of key entities like patients and providers.
• Collaborate with product managers, business and analytic stakeholders to translate business needs into practical scalable data solutions.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects to design scalable, efficient data architectures.
• Lead a team of data owners accountable for the usability, quality, and governance of our enterprise data assets.
• Lead a team of analytic data engineers to enrich and curate data cost-effectively.
• Partner with legal, security, product, and engineering leaders to implement best practices in data governance.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative culture, set clear goals, and mentor staff.
• Drive adoption of data products and promote a data-driven decision-making culture.
