Requirements:
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • State Licensure.
  • 1 year of IEP directed therapy and evaluation experience in a school setting (CFY not included).
  • Experience in IEP meetings, as a case manager, and completing comprehensive reports.
  • Excellent communication skills with children from diverse backgrounds.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in tele-health services.
  • Private workspace with reliable computer, webcam, and secure internet.
  • Availability during traditional school hours (8:00am-4:00pm) with a minimum of 15 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct SLP evaluations and provide direct SLP services to children.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to create a treatment plan or IEP for each child, identifying specific SLP-related goals.
  • Monitor each child’s progress on an ongoing basis.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing with parents, staff, and students regarding progress.
  • Complete required documentation and data collection for IEP reports and evaluations.
  • Meet regularly with teachers and specialists to discuss individual students' needs.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide ongoing supervision to ensure student needs are met.
