Requirements:

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is required.
• 1 year of experience in IEP directed therapy and evaluations in a school setting (CFY not included).
• Experience in participating in IEP meetings and completing educational eligibility determinations.
• Strong communication skills to interact with children and families from various backgrounds.
• Tech-savvy with experience in conducting tele-health services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct SLP evaluations and provide direct SLP services to children.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to create treatment plans or IEPs for each child, identifying specific SLP-related goals.
• Monitor each child’s progress on an ongoing basis.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students regarding progress.
• Complete required documentation and data collection for IEP reports.
• Meet regularly with educational professionals to discuss student needs.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate to ensure student needs are met.
