Requirements:

• Demonstrable fundraising track record, both quantitatively and qualitatively.
• Proactive, resourceful with strong personal rapport and people skills.
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
• Experience in developing different income streams.
• Strong sector experience, ideally within civic technology.
• Tech savvy with experience using relevant databases.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver on and refine our four-year fundraising strategy, maintaining understanding of programme needs.
• Identify and pursue leads for unrestricted and restricted grant funding.
• Write and submit grant proposals, and develop budgets and monitoring practices.
• Maintain databases of funders and contacts, producing reports on progress.
• Own relationships with existing funders, lead on contract negotiations, and provide updates.
