Requirements:

• Experience in unsecured retail lending (e.g. personal loans, credit cards, overdrafts, buy now pay later).
• Understanding of the unsecured retail lending market and pricing dynamics' impact on portfolio performance.
• Understanding of lending economics and experience in developing underwriting strategies.
• Strong analytical skills with technical coding capabilities; SQL is required, Python and Looker are a plus.
• Understanding of UK lending regulations.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and enhance product offerings.
• Strong communication skills to articulate complex issues and decision points.
• Experience in project management and team coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Working on initiatives to improve credit underwriting, boost growth and manage portfolio risk.
• Supporting the design and roll-out of new lending strategies by analyzing data and translating insights.
• Monitoring existing strategies' performance and iterating for improvement.
• Collaborating with engineering, marketing, product, risk, and control teams to deliver product changes.
• Developing, maintaining, and monitoring credit models for strategic business decisions.
• Building and maintaining database tables and dashboards for insights to promote rapid, data-driven decisions.
• Assessing performance of lending portfolios over time.
