Sustainability Analyst (Emissions Factor Database)

Requirements:

• Proficient in data management and analysis tools such as MS Excel, Google Sheets, Alteryx, Metabase, Tableau; knowledge of coding languages for data analysis (e.g., Python, R) is ideal.
• Experience with sustainability data analysis, including Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and Emission Factors (EF), with the ability to calculate and analyze emission changes.
• Relevant degree or experience in sustainability, with a foundational understanding of greenhouse gas emissions calculations aligned with GHG Protocol/ISO Standards.
• Strong ability to summarize and present complex topics transparently and to write clear technical documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead research projects to identify and evaluate new data sources for emission factors, ensuring high-quality data for calculations.
• Contribute to projects developing the Calculation Engine, introducing new methodologies and enhancing user experience.
• Manage processes to import new emissions data into the Emission Factor Database.
• Research new carbon accounting standards and present findings internally.
• Be a valued member of the Sustainability Insights team, contributing to workshops and assisting with queries.
