Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in freight management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Basic understanding of transport operations and compliance regulations.
• Good understanding of warehousing and transport operations.
• Experience in HS (tariff) classification, customs valuation, and country of origin determination.
• Good knowledge of import/customs regulations, Free Trade Agreements, Rules of Origin, import duties and taxes.
• Good knowledge of freight incoterms.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data tracking and analysis.
• Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and reporting (good to have).
• Proficiency in mandarin necessary to facilitate communication with Suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily correspondence with freight forwarders and last mile courier vendors to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues.
• Calculate freight costs and prepare cost estimates to support procurement strategies.
• Book shipments with vendors and monitor the status of deliveries to ensure on-time performance.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for process enhancements in transportation and logistics, using data-driven insights.
• Build positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate clear communication regarding logistics operations.
• Help track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate vendor effectiveness and service quality.
• Assist in ensuring all shipping procedures adhere to company policies and government regulations.
• Engage in logistics projects aimed at improving customer experience and operational efficiency.
