Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in online data engineering, real-time infrastructure, or technical leadership roles.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams with a focus on both technical leadership and people management.
• Proven expertise with distributed real-time processing systems like Google Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Apache Beam, Apache Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Rust, or Go.
• Strong foundation in real-time data processing and optimization of large-scale online systems like Cassandra, Bigtable.
• Experience with cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Online Infrastructure Team and manage a high-performing engineering team responsible for real-time systems.
• Oversee the development and implementation of scalable, high-performance online infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and other engineering teams to integrate real-time data insights.
• Drive innovation by staying current with industry trends in data engineering and cloud technologies.
• Ensure the reliability and continuous improvement of online systems.
• Utilize agile methodologies for timely delivery of solutions.
• Partner with senior leadership to shape the technical vision and roadmap.
