Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in leading and scaling cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, including architecture, integration, testing, and validation.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in systems engineering or a related technical domain.
  • Strong understanding of Linux Operating System, including package management and End Of Life migration best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, infrastructure, and large-scale distributed systems.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience in one or more languages (e.g., Python, PHP, Javascript).
  • 5+ years experience in a technical leadership role, including people/team management.

Responsibilities:

  • Defining and refining engineering processes to promote a more efficient, effective and secure SDLC, including leading code reviews to ensure best practices.
  • Setting clear expectations with individuals based on their level and role and aligned to the broader organization's goals, meeting regularly to discuss performance, development, provide feedback and coaching.
