Community Technical Moderator

Requirements:

• Broad understanding of Databricks, covering areas like Data Engineering, Data Analysis, and Machine Learning.
• Deep knowledge of Spark and Delta technologies.
• Experience with Medallion Architecture.
• Familiarity with open-source tools like Unity Catalog, MLflow, Icebern, and Hudi.
• Strong understanding of AWS or Azure data services and some experience with the other platform and GCP.
• Ability to research within complex information landscapes and collaborate in low-resourced environments.
• Familiarity with community platforms such as Khoros, Vanilla, Discourse is preferred.
• Experience as a moderator or administrator of an online community is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Help the online data practitioner community discover the value of Databricks by providing accurate answers to their technical questions.
• Encourage peer-to-peer community answers and assist with internal SME responses when needed.
• Track the status of questions and answers to ensure follow-up and resolution.
• Drive member satisfaction, consumption, and retention through professional engagement.
• Develop partnerships with SMEs and contribute to community documentation.
