Associate Director, Events Marketing

Requirements:

• Experience in marketing live and virtual events.
• Exceptional collaboration skills with various teams.
• Strong understanding of audience segments and conversion funnels.
• Strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Creative thinking with a bias for action.
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Looker, and/or an ESP is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and executing marketing campaigns to generate RSVPs and viewership.
• Increasing awareness of Axios Events offerings.
• Leveraging various paid and organic marketing channels.
• Partnering with the Events team to develop plans and messaging.
• Collaborating with Audience Development for social media posts.
• Managing A/B tests to improve registration conversions.
• Partnering with Design to create marketing assets.
• Creating and deploying marketing emails to attract registrations.
• Working with other Growth team members and Analytics on reporting.
• Occasional travel to support event media capture and promotion.
