Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field, ideally with focus in Power Systems or Power Electronics.
  • At least 5 years of related industry experience, preferably in the design and management of transmission assets.
  • Excellent technical written communication and verbal presentation skills in English.
  • Ability to collaborate with global teams.
  • Capability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with multiple priorities.
  • Preferred experience in utilities, power systems consulting, or equipment vendors.
  • Knowledge of FACTS, HVDC, power electronics, SCADA, EMS, power-system protection and control, HV substation design, and relevant standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary product expert throughout the sales and project delivery process, particularly engaging with customers in North America.
  • Educate customers and stakeholders on Smart Wires’ products both in-person and virtually.
  • Review and approve updated product documentation such as spec sheets and manuals.
  • Conduct site-specific studies for various applications of Smart Wires’ products.
  • Develop, review, and approve technical reports supporting product development and sales.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams for new product introduction, representing the technical needs of customers.
  • Represent Smart Wires’ products in industry and academic working groups.
