Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 8+ years of hands-on hardware engineering experience with over 3 years in a leadership role.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in circuit design, PCB layout, and hardware debugging.
• Experience with IoT devices, embedded systems, and edge computing.
• Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).
• Experience in designing low-power hardware solutions.
• Familiarity with hardware security principles.
• Well versed in phase-gate hardware product development process.
• Additional Qualifications: Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Hardware Design Projects: Oversee end-to-end design and development of new devices from conceptualization to production.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with various teams and partners to define hardware requirements.
• Innovate and Optimize: Introduce new technologies and provide technical support across product lifecycle.
• Embed Rigorous Design for Excellence (DfX) Mindset: Conduct design reviews and process analysis.
• Mentor Team Members: Provide technical guidance and foster a culture of learning.
• Ensure Quality, Reliability, and Compliance: Oversee testing and validation of hardware performance.
• Problem-Solve: Troubleshoot hardware issues and provide Tier-2 engineering support.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the long-term hardware roadmap.
