- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field.
- 10+ years of prime contract administration experience required.
- Strong knowledge of contract negotiation and management, particularly in Federal and commercial subcontracts.
- Thorough understanding of FAR/DFAR and related supplements.
- Knowledge of industry business practices in Federal contracting, including DoD, DoE, and DHS.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of PC software for contract administration.
- Desired experience in non-Federal contracting, including commercial and municipal.
- Preferred background in Engineering and Construction contracting.
- Reviews client contracts to identify risks and ensure conformity with company policy.
- Proposes alternative clauses to contracts based on sound approaches.
- Ensures thorough review for legal, risk management, tax, and accounting issues.
- Leads negotiations for business terms and contract conditions.
- Monitors compliance with prime contracts.
- Advises teams on scope, financial, and risk issues.
- Solves significant contract problems proactively.
- Supports Requests for Equitable Adjustments and Claims as needed.
- Guides Contract Administrators on the team.
- Works with proposal teams on drafting and submission, including terms and conditions.
