Requirements:

• Excellent English proficiency.
• Experience with project management, legal research, or contract application preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business courses.
• Initiate phone calls and follow up to gather necessary information.
• Troubleshoot issues and find solutions.
• Use various software for tracking projects and client information.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• The permit specialist is responsible for managing the new permit process and existing permit verification process.
• This includes reviewing client information, applying for sales tax permits, and ensuring accurate permit information.
• Prepare and submit Power of Attorney forms for clients to enable TaxValet to communicate with permits on their behalf.
• Work with onboarding and tax specialists to close out sales tax permits as necessary.
• Provide ongoing support to clients during the permit process.
