Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or commensurate experience.
• 10+ years experience managing large-scale in-person events.
• 5+ years experience leading an events team.
• Experience with virtual events coordination.
• Ability to gather and organize information for presentations.
• Proficiency in managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Flexibility in work schedule to support event needs.
• Professionalism and commitment to high standards.
• Ability to travel and work irregular hours when needed.
• Physical ability to lift and carry supplies up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and leads event strategy and execution for high-profile national events.
• Builds and maintains partnerships with event stakeholders.
• Guides the development of event materials reflecting the organization’s mission.
• Manages and motivates the Events Team for creative alignment with organizational goals.
• Handles planning of VIP invitations and oversees event protocols.
• Collaborates with the EVP to shape event vision and manage resources effectively.
• Identifies and proposes new collaboration opportunities for events.
• Anticipates operational challenges and develops strategic solutions.
• Oversees development of invitation lists and donor engagement opportunities.
• Manages post-event reporting and budget insights for continuous improvement.
