- Proven work experience as a Patient Service Representative or similar role.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and insurance processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Amenable to work in a graveyard shift (at any US time zone).
- Experience in Radiology/Imaging is a MUST.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Experience in RIS (Radiology Information System) is a BONUS.
- Assist patients with inquiries and appointments.
- Answer inbound calls and respond to patient queries in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Manage the intake of members or the admission/discharge information post notification.
- Handle resolution/inquiries from members and/or providers.
- Provide and handle eligibility, benefits of coverage, claims, and prior authorization.
- Provide support and assistance to patients throughout their healthcare journey.
- Schedule and reschedule appointments accurately.
- Follow up with patients regarding payment and insurance matters.
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality.
