Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
• Experience handling 1st and 3rd party, multi-line claims, ranging from simple to moderately complex.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of claims policies and endorsements.
• Extensive knowledge of each phase of the claim handling process.
• Obtain state-specific property casualty claims licensing as required.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate origin and cause of claims by contacting insureds, claimants, agents, and others.
• Handle 3rd party claims under multiple policy types and numerous endorsements.
• Conduct on-site inspections when needed, evaluate damages, and handle claim negotiations.
• Respond to customer inquiries, make decisions, and close files as necessary.
• Interpret policies and contracts, making independent decisions, and serving as a mentor.
