Solutions Architect I

Requirements:

• 3+ years' experience in customer interaction and technical roles (e.g., Solutions, Sales Engineering, technical account management).
• 3+ years' experience with integration development, APIs, or IPaaS systems.
• Experience building out complex code, ideally in JavaScript.
• Track record of driving cross-functional alignment across Engineer, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Support.
• Outstanding analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• E-commerce experience and shipping/logistics experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Support our sales team for custom integration build outs for large merchants.
• Research upstream APIs and systems, and build ERDs (entity relationship diagrams), including field mapping.
• Build RFPs (request for proposal) for custom work needed for customers to send to SI partners.
• Work with the partnerships team on new general-purpose integrations and feedback collection.
• Interface directly with customers to gather user requirements and system documentation.
• Project manage integrations with SI partners and keep stakeholders informed.
• Leverage resources to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
• Ensure quality architecture recommendations by understanding upstream systems and ShipBob's API.
