• Strong experience in information security engineering, focusing on Edge security solutions like Akamai.
• Expert-level knowledge of Akamai products, including Kona Site Defender and Bot Manager.
• Proven experience in managing advanced Akamai security configurations.
• Hands-on experience in optimizing Akamai configurations.
• Knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, PHP, or C# desirable.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach.
• Effective communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities:

• Enhancing Edge Security posture through security services like Web Application Firewall, Edge DNS, and Bot Management.
• Research, identify, and implement security measures for LastPass products.
• Configure and maintain Akamai security services such as WAF, Kona Site Defender, and Edge DNS.
• Proactively analyze and fine-tune security rules and access controls.
• Collaborate with teams to optimize security configurations balancing performance.
• Regularly audit security configurations for compliance.
• Implement strategies for proactive threat detection.
• Lead incident response efforts and collaborate with relevant teams.
