• Understanding of security best practices and frameworks such as SOX, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and NIST frameworks.
• Proficient in agile product development practices.
• Strong communicator with ability to work independently across time zones.
• Experience working with diverse teams and navigating ambiguity.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects.
• Pragmatic problem-solver with a focus on progress.

Responsibilities:

• Structure and drive a portfolio of cybersecurity programs and projects to support Marqeta’s cybersecurity maturity.
• Develop partnerships for transformation while remaining agile to respond to changing business needs.
• Leverage control frameworks for improvements including SOX, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and NIST frameworks.
• Drive S-SDLC enablement and collaborate with security teams on process improvement.
• Work with stakeholders to identify priority initiatives.
• Define and execute communication plans for reporting.
• Manage risks, schedules, and blockers.
• Validate assumptions, define success metrics, and use data for improvements.
• Suggest TPM standard improvements for PMO service quality.
• Use scrum and agile practices to enhance initiative delivery.
