Requirements:
  • 1+ years’ experience in a social media, corporate communications, public relations, journalism or another relevant role.
  • Excellent communicator—great oral, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Social Media and PR savvy—fluency with social strategies and public relations tactics.
  • Creative thinker—ability to come up with new ideas and creatively position events.
  • Great self-management ability—organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with researching industry speaking engagements and drafting talking points for events.
  • Ideating and managing blog posts for AdCouncil.org and staying updated on industry news.
  • Assisting with PR/social media program development and supporting campaign managers with strategies.
  • Drafting various communication materials including press releases and social media content.
  • Managing administrative duties such as processing SOWs and tracking billings.
