Requirements:

• Degree qualified preferably in numerical or science subjects.
• Relevant insurance experience with a good understanding of key insurance KPIs and metrics.
• Coding and data manipulation experience within the insurance industry.
• Proficient with Excel and exposure to Power BI.
• Experience with SQL and Python programming languages.
• Enthusiastic individual with high attention to detail.
• Strong commercial acumen for presenting to stakeholders.
• Proficient in applying analytical techniques to extract meaningful trends and make recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the underwriting performance to protect the portfolio's profitability.
• Produce weekly/monthly reports using Excel, data coding languages, and online portals.
• Support data requests from various teams regarding current schemes' performance.
• Maintain and monitor MI and BDX checks, coordinating variances with pricing/profitability analysts.
• Assume responsibility for data integrity and thorough file documentation.
• Build collaborative relationships within the business unit to manage client performance.
• Enhance data usage and MI availability to support decision-making and portfolio growth.
• Support the creation of plans and forecasts alongside the finance team.
