Yoga and Meditation certifications from a recognized institution (preferred).
Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in yoga, wellness, mindfulness, or related practices.
Proficient with technology, and online class membership management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and supportive approach.
Demonstrated ability to safely and effectively lead older adult participants in yoga poses and sequences.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Genuine commitment to promoting a balanced lifestyle through yoga, mindfulness, and wellness practices.
Responsibilities:
Develop and lead group yoga, meditation, nutrition sessions, live journaling, and other wellness activities tailored to older adult clients of varying experience levels.
Create and deliver live and recorded engaging, well-rounded class sequences and wellness sessions that support participants' physical, mental, and emotional health.
Build a warm and supportive atmosphere, offering modifications and personalized adjustments as needed to ensure accessibility for all levels.
Educate participants on the benefits of yoga, mindfulness, and other wellness practices, encouraging a holistic approach to health and balance.
Foster a sense of community within classes, encouraging client interaction, support, and shared goals.
Adapt and modify practices to meet individual needs and goals, addressing diverse fitness levels and wellness objectives.
Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment, following health and safety guidelines.
Keep current with industry trends and new developments in wellness, yoga, and mindfulness to enhance class offerings.
