Requirements:

• 5+ years of fundraising or business development experience is required.
• Strong networking, presentation, and relationship-building expertise.
• Experience in grant writing, communications, or public affairs.
• Track record of securing 6-7 figure deals or donations.
• Experience in prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Proficient in online databases and CRM database (Salesforce preferred).
• Solid understanding of budgets related to proposals and high digital literacy.
• Proficiency in Google Docs and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and cultivate existing funding sources, prospects, and new partnerships.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of Code.org’s strategic funding priorities.
• Write, edit, submit, and steward high-quality funding proposals and reports.
• Develop comprehensive donor stewardship strategies to strengthen relationships with donors.
• Manage campaigns to engage new donors and build support.
• Track fundraising and donor information in Salesforce.
• Arrange and manage funder site visits.
