Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, education, or a related STEM field (Master’s preferred).
• Teaching experience in math or experience in a college-level tutoring center (1+ years).
• GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suites.
• Access to a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct small 'core' groups of students in mathcore skills for long-term understanding and college exam readiness.
• Track student progress through a multi-phase curriculum, providing individualized growth opportunities.
• Model professionalism by maintaining lesson schedules, responding promptly to students, and holding them accountable for assignments.
• Develop and creatively execute lesson plans and curriculum.
• Mentor middle and high school students with empathy concerning the competitive nature of the college application process.
