Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, education, or related STEM field (Master’s preferred; entry-level acceptable).
• 1+ years of teaching experience in math or working in a college-level tutoring center.
• GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suites.
• Access to a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct small 'core' groups of students in math skills to promote understanding and high scores in college readiness exams (ACT & SAT).
• Track student progress through Vanguard's multi-phase curriculum, providing individualized growth opportunities.
• Maintain professionalism, respond promptly to students, manage lesson schedules online, and hold students accountable for assignments.
• Develop and creatively execute lesson plans and curriculum.
• Mentor middle and high school students with understanding of the competitive college application process.
