Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, education, or a related STEM field (Master’s preferred; entry-level open).
• Teaching experience in math or experience working in a college-level tutoring center (1+ years).
• GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suites.
• Access to a reliable internet connection and a workspace with minimal noise/distraction.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct small core groups of students in their math skills to enhance understanding and performance in college readiness exams.
• Track student progress through a multi-phase curriculum and engage them in individualized growth opportunities.
• Model professionalism by maintaining communication with students, updating lesson schedules, and holding them accountable for their assignments.
• Develop and creatively execute evolving lesson plans and curriculum.
• Mentor middle and high school students with empathy, considering the competitive nature of the college application process.
