Requirements:

• Graduate of Finance/Accounting or a related business course.
• Around years of experience in Australian Accounting/Bookkeeping (BAS, IAS, GST).
• Experience handling multiple clients and understanding accounting language.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and advanced knowledge of accounting tools, particularly Xero.
• Ability to learn new systems and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Record customer payments and prepare aged receivables.
• Manage supplier invoices and ensure appropriate authorization for payments.
• Reconcile all bank and loan accounts, and prepare monthly reconciliation reports.
• Process payroll and maintain confidential employee records.
• Prepare draft monthly financial statements and assist with Business Wrap Ups.
• Prepare and lodge BAS and reconcile it.
