Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in any related positions.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and skills in Apache Tomcat Server.
  • Experience with Oracle Weblogic Server 12c, Oracle SQL Developer, and Oracle Database 12c.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Virtual Machines, Oracle Linux, and Red Hat Linux.
  • Knowledge of Ant and Shell scripting.
  • Experience with Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server (RPAS) and related merchandising applications.
  • Familiarity with Oracle XStore Suite, ORCE, OROB, OMS, BIP, and ORSIM.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update Oracle RDBMS instances for both OLR and its client base.
  • Apply Oracle Retail patches and releases as required.
  • Maintain and update Oracle Internet Developer Suite applications.
  • Maintain and update UNIX operating systems.
  • Setup and maintain web server and application server environments.
  • Define and ensure adherence to database standards.
  • Setup and test backup and recovery configurations.
  • Create and update Oracle database objects.
  • Perform database and hardware sizing and capacity planning.
  • Assist project teams in software functionality definitions.
  • Log and resolve application and infrastructure issues.
  • Maintain the OLR software development environment.
  • Perform knowledge transfer to client personnel.
  • Support and troubleshoot OLR and client environments.
  • Provide on-call support as needed.
  • Gather technical team status for reporting to management.
