Senior II, Infrastructure Developer

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles focusing on tooling, automation, and cloud infrastructure.
• 4+ years of experience with AWS or equivalent, focusing on RDS, EKS, IAM, Lambda, S3, EC2, Elasticache, and Cloudfront.
• Experience with Containers, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with database configurations, performance tuning, and SQL.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog and Cloudwatch.
• Strong Linux server administration skills.
• Teamwork and collaboration, problem analysis, and attention to detail.
• Bonus: Experience with large-scale AWS cost-optimization projects.
• Bonus: Experience with AWS data-specific solutions including SageMaker, Redshift, and MSK.

Responsibilities:

• Primarily operate as an AWS Cloud Infrastructure engineer supporting provisioning, maintenance, testing, optimization, and security of the infrastructure stack.
• Advocate for engineering best practices and principles to drive data product solutions into production.
• Work with development teams to understand their needs and build supporting tools.
• Participate in on-call rotation for incident management for infrastructure issues.
• Write and maintain documentation of existing systems and proposals for new designs and solutions.
