Staff SQE Engineer – Optical

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of optical lens quality control and manufacturing processes.
• At least 4 years of experience in optical parts SQE within a contract or original design manufacturer.
• 2+ years of quality experience in a lens manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with quality and engineering tools such as FA, 5why, DOE, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, and MSA.
• Strong problem-solving skills including failure analysis and root cause determination.
• Professional working proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel within China and internationally.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for optical part quality and solving PCB quality issues.
• Review and approve supplier PPAP and PMP.
• Align inspection plans for suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Conduct new supplier qualifications and regular audits.
• Drive continuous quality improvement programs and support sourcing and engineering teams.
