Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in hardware development.
• Proven track record in display and touch technology implementation.
• Ability to define, set-up, and execute display metrics testing.
• Familiarity with the design process from concept to system integration.
• Hands-on experience with board troubleshooting.
• Experience in low-cost portable consumer electronics design.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with mechanical and firmware/software teams to ensure design trade-offs.
• Investigate and introduce new designs.
• Develop system concepts for high-volume products for manufacturability.
• Manage technical assignments with development partners.
• Create documentation and processes for high product quality.
• Conduct bench level debug and performance testing for product support.
• Perform optical and touch characterization of displays.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
