Senior User Interface Developer

Requirements:

• 5+ years of UI Development.
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent studies and experience in modern technologies.
• Ability to provide an online portfolio or live example of work.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
• Proven experience building reusable components and applications in React.
• Deep knowledge of semantic HTML and modern CSS.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Mocha, Tape, etc.).
• Proficiency with Git version control and understanding of the fork-and-pull model.
• Strong communication skills, working with both technical and non-technical people.
• Strong collaboration skills working together with other developers and designers.
• Ability to create responsive applications and components that work across devices.
• Proven ability to work remotely and be self-motivated.
• Ability to analyze requirements and create a suggested design approach.
• Experience with cross-browser testing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the user experience of high volume fintech platforms.
• Maintain and enhance development best practices.
• Participate in Code Reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.
• Create prototypes and proof of concepts to drive the future state of one of Bottomline’s platforms.
• Provide effort and risk estimates to support planning.
• Collaborate with product designers and UX specialists to refine component specifications and translate those designs into UI Components.
• Maintain and contribute to Bottomline’s UI Design Library.
